About the role

  • Within the Student Support mission, the assistant engineer designs and produces audio and visual communication materials that highlight the career paths of University of Artois alumni.
  • The position contributes to promoting professional integration and the diversity of student trajectories through the production of podcasts and posters based on surveys and interviews conducted with graduates.
  • In coordination with the Student Support Manager and the Student Life Observatory, design and manage a graduate career survey (questionnaire development, distribution, response analysis).
  • Identify and contact willing alumni to collect their testimonies.
  • Prepare and conduct interviews (interview guide, audio recording, validation of statements).
  • Perform sound recording, audio editing, and publishing of podcasts.
  • Design presentation posters for alumni (layout, graphic creation, visual harmonization).
  • Ensure editorial and graphic consistency with the university’s communication guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the audiovisual and multimedia unit for the production and dissemination of materials.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of the initiative (monitoring, feedback, improvement proposals).

Requirements

  • Education: DUT or BUT in Multimedia and Internet Professions (MMI), or equivalent training in audiovisual, communication, or graphic design.
  • Experience: beginners accepted — initial experience in creating audio or visual content (student projects, internships, volunteer work) is a plus.
  • Desired qualities: autonomy, creativity, curiosity, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge: sound recording techniques and audio editing (Audacity, Reaper or equivalent).
  • Tools: graphic creation and layout tools (Canva, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator or equivalent).
  • Concepts: principles of visual and editorial communication.
  • Research skills: basic knowledge of survey methodology and testimony collection.
  • Interest or good knowledge of the university environment and student pathways.
