About the role
- Provide mobile notary services at prescheduled client locations, traveling to homes or other convenient settings.
- Verify the identity of signers and ensure documents are signed in accordance with state laws and regulations.
- Review and notarize estate plan documents.
- Maintain accurate records of all notarial acts performed, including keeping a journal of all transactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries in a professional manner.
- Adhere to the ethical standards set forth by the state and the notary public code of conduct.
- Work independently with flexible hours while serving clients in your area.
- Serve clients for a prominent estate planning company operating throughout the United States.
Requirements
- Must be a commissioned notary public and have a valid notary license in your state.
- Experience as a mobile notary is preferred but not required; training may be available for the right candidate.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
- Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to client locations.
- Must complete role-specific training and demonstrate understanding of the related documents to be notarized.
