About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create Mentoring Relationships: Observe and evaluate infant and toddler's progress to prepare the children for school
- Facilitate Family Partnerships: Working with families to set and reach their goals while providing parenting education.
- Track Progress: Conduct assessments and maintain accurate records.
- Encourage Family Involvement: Partner with parents to inspire active participation of the children.
- Integrate Wellness: Complete educational and health screenings, and rescreens, within the Head Start Performance Standards.
- Promote the program: Assist with recruitment efforts to connect more families to the Head Start program.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current Home Visiting CDA, OR
- Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Family Services or related degree
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or the willingness to obtain within 90 days)
