About the role
- Responsible for the smooth operation of the IT infrastructure
- Installation, maintenance and automation of systems on Linux and Windows
- Administration of virtualization environments
- Support in building and maintaining container-based environments
- Operation of internal services based on Apache Tomcat or IBM DB2
- Network administration and hardware management
- Point of contact for colleagues and resolution of technical issues
Requirements
- Initial experience in IT administration
- Ideally experience in DevOps or willingness to be trained
- Comfortable working with both Linux and Windows systems
- Curiosity about virtualization, containerization and scripting
- Structured working style and sense of responsibility
- Interest in networking, server hardware, and database-driven applications
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and clients in a solution-oriented manner
- Willingness to undergo a security check according to the German Security Screening Act (SÜG)
