About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with Finance and business stakeholders to understand requirements related to planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation and financial reporting.
- Conduct requirement gathering, stakeholder discussions, process analysis and gap analysis.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Support EPM implementation, enhancement and transformation projects.
- Work closely with developers/configuration teams to ensure requirements are correctly translated into EPM solutions.
- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, process flows, functional specifications and test scenarios.
- Support data mapping, data validation and integration requirements between EPM and source systems.
- Coordinate SIT, UAT and defect resolution with business and technology teams.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant or Systems Analyst, preferably within Finance/EPM environments.
- Strong understanding of FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, financial consolidation and management reporting.
- Hands-on experience with one or more EPM platforms, including Oracle EPM Cloud / Hyperion.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering and functional documentation.
- Good understanding of financial data structures, dimensions, hierarchies and chart of accounts.
- Experience with data mapping, reconciliation and system integrations.
- Good knowledge of SQL for data analysis and validation.
- Experience in UAT/SIT, test case preparation and defect management.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments is preferred.
- Experience in banking or financial services is good to have.
- Knowledge of IFRS, financial consolidation or regulatory reporting is good to have.
- Experience with Finance transformation or EPM implementation projects is good to have.
- Exposure to ETL/data integration tools and APIs is good to have.
