About the role
- Collaborate on the design, development, and implementation of LLM-based applications using frameworks such as LangChain;
- Support the creation of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions and the use of vector databases (e.g., ChromaDB);
- Participate in the development and testing of interactive user interfaces with tools like Gradio, Streamlit, or Shiny;
- Assist in creating, testing, and fine-tuning prompts to improve model performance and accuracy;
- Integrate LLM APIs from providers such as OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, or Meta;
- Contribute to building AI agents for task automation;
- Consider and support discussions on the ethical and responsible use of AI;
- Learn and gradually apply MLOps practices related to the AI application lifecycle;
- Stay up to date on trends and advances in AI and LLMs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience);
- Programming experience, preferably in Python;
- Basic understanding of LLMs, their capabilities, and limitations;
- Interest in prompt engineering;
- Willingness to learn AI development frameworks;
- Introductory knowledge of RAG and vector databases;
- Interest in building interfaces with Gradio or Streamlit;
- Basic software engineering knowledge, including Git/GitHub and consuming APIs;
- Attention to ethical aspects of AI;
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and good communication;
- Proactive, curious, and quick to learn new technologies.
