About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as an Undergraduate Professor in the Analysis and Systems Development program.
  • Teach the Computer Graphics course;
  • Plan, develop and assess theoretical-practical classes delivered in-person, blended, and hybrid at the Porto Alegre and São Leopoldo campuses;
  • Prepare teaching materials, assessment instruments and course syllabi;
  • Provide academic advising and follow-up for students;
  • Record attendance, assessments and other academic information in institutional systems;
  • Supervise final course projects or applied projects in the area of Systems Analysis and Development;
  • Contribute to the enhancement of teaching and learning processes within the field;
  • Participate in pedagogical meetings, faculty development activities and other institutional actions related to teaching.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Analysis and Systems Development, Computer Engineering, Computer Networks, Information Security, Information Systems;
  • Master’s degree in related areas;
  • Availability to work 12 hours per week;
  • Availability to work on-site at the São Leopoldo and Porto Alegre campuses.
  • Doctoral degree in related areas;
  • Professional experience in the field outside academia;
  • Experience with active teaching methodologies and virtual/remote learning environments.
