About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform personnel administration and benefits routines, payroll processing, and collection of taxes, social charges and social security benefits.
- Execute medium-complexity HR department activities, ensuring compliance with legislation and providing employee support in accordance with company policies.
- Process payroll and submit required information to government agencies, including GFIP/SEFIP.
- Arrange the collection of charges and carry out monthly and annual legal routines.
- Process payments or deductions arising from timekeeping controls and the time-clock system.
- Manage payroll-deducted loans (consigned credit) and execute disbursements to the respective entities.
- Collect union contributions and forward payroll-deducted loan repayments.
- Assist employees regarding overtime, hours worked, vacation pay and other payroll-related payments.
- File and control papers and documents in the main archive.
- Maintain valid social security and labor certificates for clients and for bidding/procurement processes.
- Comply with internal regulations, quality management system requirements, ANS regulations, and health, hygiene and occupational safety standards.
- Use PPE/EPC when required by the activity.
- Perform other duties inherent to the role or assigned by the immediate supervisor, when qualified.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Human Resources, Psychology, Accounting, Economics or related fields.
- Desirable: courses or practical knowledge in personnel administration routines.
- Desirable: knowledge of labor legislation.
- Desirable: experience with payroll management systems and timekeeping/frequency control systems.
- Desirable: proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of payroll routines, including reconciliations, scheduling, eSocial and taxes/charges.
- Knowledge of FGTS Digital and Worker Credit.
- Knowledge of payroll accounting routines.
- Familiarity with HR systems, especially Apdata.
- Knowledge of Apdata is a plus.
- Experience in medium- or large-sized companies is an advantage.
- Ability to perform tasks assigned by the supervisor, when applicable.
