About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor, analyze, and quantify healthcare service costs and performance indicators of accredited providers, in-house resources, and providers within the Unimed network, operating at tactical and strategic levels.
  • Build management reports and present identified results and opportunities.
  • Analyze concentration of cost metrics, proposing adjustments and process and behavioral improvements to support decision-making.
  • Collect and analyze large volumes of data, prepare strategic reports for business areas, and automate database processing to support decision-making.
  • Develop new indicators to inform and guide decision-making with a focus on reducing healthcare costs.
  • Prepare executive presentations that clearly and concisely translate evaluated data to facilitate decision-making.
  • Research and stay up to date on the supplementary healthcare sector.
  • Conduct studies on the operation of medical and healthcare systems, as well as population, political, environmental, and cultural behaviors that affect the supplementary healthcare sector in Brazil.
  • Produce statistical and predictive models using clustering and classification techniques, develop (or recommend) algorithms, and perform data exploration.
  • Map coherence aspects across diverse knowledge domains, identify emerging key elements, and propose the incorporation of innovative elements into practical activities.
  • Build customized dashboards to automate recurring analyses.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or related fields.
  • Software and Tools: Microsoft Office (advanced) and Google Workspace.
  • Technical Skills: Programming languages (Databricks / SQL).
  • Analytical Profile: Strong analytical mindset and critical data analysis skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate degree or MBA in Data Analysis or related areas.
