About the role
- Actively participate in creating the department, defining methodologies, policies and working tools.
- Develop the Continuous Audit program, focusing on automated monitoring and data analysis (Data Analytics).
- Plan and execute risk-based audits, prioritizing what is critical to the business.
- Implement automation and analytic intelligence solutions for deeper and more agile control testing.
- Report findings and recommendations to the Audit Committee, directly influencing senior management.
- Work closely with Compliance, Risk and IT to ensure an integrated control culture.
- Act as an ambassador for ethics, promoting training and workshops to disseminate best practices.
- Monitor action plans and area KPIs, ensuring that proposed improvements are implemented.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Law or related fields.
- Prior experience at one of the Big Four (Deloitte, EY, KPMG or PwC) is mandatory for this position.
- Knowledge of international auditing standards (IIA), COSO, SOX frameworks and Compliance practices.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., ACL, IDEA, Power BI or SQL) and the ability to develop automated control tests.
- Specialization or MBA in Audit, Governance, Compliance, Risk Management or related areas is a plus.
- Possession of certifications such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CISA, CCSA or similar.
