About the role

  • Responsible for the analysis and management of the operator's financial risks
  • Perform calculations of technical provisions (such as PEONA)
  • Develop technical notes for pricing new products
  • Prepare claims ratio studies for the adjustment of group contracts
  • Create and refine actuarial models to project scenarios of healthcare costs
  • Conduct liability adequacy tests to monitor the company's solvency
  • Prepare detailed technical reports for senior management and the National Supplementary Health Agency (ANS)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, with active registration at the IBA (Brazilian Institute of Actuaries)
  • Proficiency with office software (word processor, spreadsheets, presentation software, Internet, e-mail)
  • Knowledge of the regulation of the supplementary health market
  • Knowledge of programming languages (SQL, SAS and/or R)
