About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the residence's operations with a focus on economic performance
  • Prepare, monitor and analyze the residence's operating budget
  • Analyze performance indicators (occupancy rate, revenue, resident satisfaction)
  • Handle administrative management of tenant files (move-ins, move-outs, inventory and condition reports)
  • Manage lease agreements and handle payment reminders and follow-ups
  • Oversee repair and refurbishment work for the housing stock
  • Supervise the proper functioning of technical equipment and common areas
  • Welcome, inform and support students throughout their residency
  • Participate in the prevention and management of conflict situations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of a Bac+2 (two-year post-secondary diploma) in management, real estate, construction, student services/activities, social work, or equivalent
  • 2 to 5 years' experience in residence management, real estate, hospitality, student life or a similar role
  • Good knowledge of the student population, their needs and lifestyles
  • Experience in rental management in a private environment
  • Basic knowledge of property law and rental regulations
  • Basic budgetary and financial management skills
  • Knowledge of building maintenance, safety and technical management
  • Understanding of student associations and student life operations
  • Proficiency in office tools and management software
