About the role

  • N1 and N2 support: responding to incidents and handling requests, ensuring availability and security for both external clients and our internal environment.
  • Fortinet administration: configuration and management of FortiGate (firewall rules, VPN, SD-WAN, security policies).
  • Multi-technology: in addition to Fortinet, you will work with other network security solutions (switches, proxies and monitoring tools).
  • Project support: active participation in implementations, migrations and network architecture improvements.
  • Manage computing environments and participate in defining technology architecture for network security.
  • Propose and implement security improvements for network assets.
  • Monitor and respond to security events and alerts in the environment's control tools.
  • Identify, respond to and mitigate information security incidents and data protection issues.
  • Identify, analyze and mitigate vulnerabilities and security gaps in information assets.
  • Support the development and update of procedures, standards and policies, as well as other environment documentation.
  • Support risk management for network assets.
  • Support the execution of internal and external audits.
  • Support training and user awareness processes in network security.
  • Manage configuration of the environment's network security control tools, such as: FIREWALL, WAF, NAC, NDR, ZTNA, WEBFILTER, SECURE SD-WAN, IDS/IPS.
  • Work on the implementation of internal and client projects.
  • Support analysis of data behavior regarding cyberattacks and their consequences, in normal situations, seasonal events or crises.

Requirements

  • Information Security frameworks (ISO 27001, ISO 27002, NIST, MITRE, CIS CONTROLS)
  • Incident identification and handling processes
  • Network segmentation best practices and micro-segmentation concepts
  • Tools: FIREWALL, WAF, NAC, NDR, ZTNA, WEBFILTER, SECURE SD-WAN, IDS/IPS
  • Operating systems: Windows, Linux and Containers
  • Good communication, organizational skills and responsibility
  • Bachelor's degree completed in Technology, Information Security or related field
