About the role

  • Supervise and train Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) supporting patients on your caseload
  • Coach and empower RBTs and collaborate closely with Programming BCBAs
  • Provide training and ongoing support to patients' families and caregivers
  • Support and provide training to other professionals in the patient’s Health Resource Community (pediatricians, OTs, SLPs, etc.)
  • Participate in protocol modification and interdisciplinary collaboration for patient care
  • Deliver hands-on ABA therapy across settings (therapy center, patient home, school, community)
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Clinical Integration
  • Occasionally travel to offsite therapy locations using a personal vehicle; travel time paid and mileage expensed

Requirements

  • Lead and guide as a supervisor offering oversight and training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
  • Provide consistent support and training to patients' families and caregivers
  • Provide ongoing support and training to individuals in a patient’s Health Resource Community (pediatricians, OTs, SLPs, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Programming BCBA for effective protocol modification
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Clinical Integration
  • Showcase original thinking, creativity, and resourcefulness
  • Effectively collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to manage patient care
  • Superior interpersonal skills; ability to inspire, engage, and coach others
  • Excellent behavior management, instructional, and organizational skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with diverse patient profiles, ages 1-12 years
  • Flexible availability, including Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm
  • Proficiency in computer skills
  • Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean and safe driving record
  • CPR/BLS certification (UNIFI covers certification and recertification costs)
  • Obtain Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) status in the state of practice if mandated
  • Proficiency in implementing ABA principles, including skill acquisition and behavior reduction strategies
  • Ability to work in therapy center, patient’s home, school, and other community locations
  • Physical ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; stand; walk; run; stoop; sit on floor; quickly transition from sitting to standing; climb stairs; use hands and fingers to feel, grab, handle, and type; and ability to talk and hear
