About the role
- Supervise and train Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) supporting patients on your caseload
- Coach and empower RBTs and collaborate closely with Programming BCBAs
- Provide training and ongoing support to patients' families and caregivers
- Support and provide training to other professionals in the patient’s Health Resource Community (pediatricians, OTs, SLPs, etc.)
- Participate in protocol modification and interdisciplinary collaboration for patient care
- Deliver hands-on ABA therapy across settings (therapy center, patient home, school, community)
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Clinical Integration
- Occasionally travel to offsite therapy locations using a personal vehicle; travel time paid and mileage expensed
Requirements
- Lead and guide as a supervisor offering oversight and training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
- Provide consistent support and training to patients' families and caregivers
- Provide ongoing support and training to individuals in a patient’s Health Resource Community (pediatricians, OTs, SLPs, etc.)
- Collaborate with Programming BCBA for effective protocol modification
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Clinical Integration
- Showcase original thinking, creativity, and resourcefulness
- Effectively collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to manage patient care
- Superior interpersonal skills; ability to inspire, engage, and coach others
- Excellent behavior management, instructional, and organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse patient profiles, ages 1-12 years
- Flexible availability, including Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm
- Proficiency in computer skills
- Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean and safe driving record
- CPR/BLS certification (UNIFI covers certification and recertification costs)
- Obtain Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) status in the state of practice if mandated
- Proficiency in implementing ABA principles, including skill acquisition and behavior reduction strategies
- Ability to work in therapy center, patient’s home, school, and other community locations
- Physical ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; stand; walk; run; stoop; sit on floor; quickly transition from sitting to standing; climb stairs; use hands and fingers to feel, grab, handle, and type; and ability to talk and hear
