Recruitment Coordinator
Umoja PartnershipRecruitment Coordinator managing recruitment processes for clerical and technical positions at PCHAS, a Christian agency serving at-risk families. Responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and employee referrals.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for interviewing, testing and referring applicants for clerical, technical, administrative and management positions throughout the company
- Processes job requisitions
- Develop, implement, and ensure that high quality and contemporary recruitment methods to attract top quality candidates appropriate to the position and company needs are in place
- Develop and maintain network of contacts to identify and source qualified candidates
- Manages internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc.
- Extends contingent job offers
- Maintains employee referral program
- Follows up with the related clerical aspects of employment, such as completing employment forms, notifying the department of employee's starting date and the requisition the employee is filling, etc.
- Develop recruitment materials. Ensure that the PCHAS website stays current on all open positions
- Develop and coordinate the internal job posting program and write job postings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in human resources preferred or high school diploma or equivalent with 7 years HR experience required
- Two years of full-cycle recruitment experience is required
- Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with professionals and potential candidates
- Good organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines; able to work under pressure of many priorities and deadlines; knowledge of full-cycle recruitment
- The ideal candidate is computer literate, well-versed with Microsoft Office software
- Must hold a valid driver’s license, have and maintain a risk-free driving record
- Must be willing to undergo initial and periodic child abuse/neglect, criminal history, sexual offender, and child care/elder care disqualification list screenings
- Must undergo a pre-employment drug screen and a pre-employment physical with the results showing no evidence of communicable disease
