About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build, test, and maintain high-performance native Android features for account views, real-time transaction feeds, payments, and multi-asset investment dashboards
Ensure feature parity between the native Android application and web application
Collaborate with backend squads to consume and securely handle sensitive real-time financial data through REST
Implement client-side security measures including biometric authentication, Android Keystore token storage, certificate pinning, and MFA flows
Translate design specifications into pixel-perfect Material Design interfaces using Jetpack Compose
Write unit and integration tests, conduct code reviews, profile memory and resource usage, and resolve crashes
Participate in sprint planning, provide estimates, and align technical roadmap commitments with Product Management
Use Cursor, Claude, or GitHub Copilot to accelerate UI iteration, code delivery, and test generation
Take end-to-end ownership of features from design through production deployment

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 3 years of commercial experience building native Android applications
Strong proficiency in Kotlin
Hands-on experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP)
Experience with MVVM/MVI and Clean Architecture
Experience with Jetpack libraries including ViewModel, Flow, and Navigation
Strong practical experience with Jetpack Compose or a robust background in XML Views
Expert use of Kotlin Coroutines and Flow
Practical experience implementing security best practices for financial or sensitive-data applications
Experience with Keystore management, code obfuscation, and secure data storage
Experience writing effective unit tests using JUnit and Mockito/MockK
Strong debugging skills
Experience with application stability and performance optimization
Ability to take end-to-end accountability for features without micromanagement
Open communication and collaboration in English
Fintech, crypto, mobile wallet, trading, or banking experience is a bonus
Familiarity with Fastlane and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI is a bonus
Startup experience is a bonus
