About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and manage high-velocity ETL/ELT pipelines and real-time data processing services using Golang.
Ensure data quality and accessibility for our AI models.
Implement data systems that handle multiregional data residency and synchronization across different geographic locations.
Build and maintain event-driven systems and data streams using Kafka and Kafka Connect.
Optimize your workflow using Claude and Cursor.
Maintain the highest standards of data protection (GDPR, UAE PDPL).

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on data-intensive systems.
Strong proficiency in Golang.
Practical experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
Hands-on experience building robust ETL/ELT pipelines.
Understanding of the challenges associated with data physically located in different regions.
You treat AI as a teammate.
English proficiency: B2+ level.
