About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build, and maintain high-performance, testable, and scalable backend services using Python frameworks (FastAPI, Django, or Flask)
  • Build and maintain structured pipelines for data collection, ETL processes, and real-time streaming
  • Work closely with cross-functional engineering and data teams to embed predictive analytics and smart financial categorization features
  • Design secure, predictable, and well-documented RESTful and gRPC APIs
  • Optimize queries, schemas, and indexing strategies for relational databases (PostgreSQL) and caching systems (Redis)
  • Participate in rigorous code reviews, write comprehensive unit/integration tests

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on Python
  • Deep hands-on experience with FastAPI, asynchronous programming in Python (asyncio)
  • Solid understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions
  • Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus, or Weaviate)
  • Comfortable working with Docker, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI), and cloud services (AWS or GCP)
  • Basic understanding of financial architectures, transaction flows, encryption standards, or crypto-fiat transactional systems
  • Professional proficiency in English (B2+)
