About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, and maintain high-performance, testable, and scalable backend services using Python frameworks (FastAPI, Django, or Flask)
Build and maintain structured pipelines for data collection, ETL processes, and real-time streaming
Work closely with cross-functional engineering and data teams to embed predictive analytics and smart financial categorization
Design secure, predictable, and well-documented RESTful and gRPC APIs
Optimize queries, schemas, and indexing strategies for both relational databases and caching systems
Participate in rigorous code reviews and write comprehensive unit/integration tests

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on Python
Deep hands-on experience with FastAPI, asynchronous programming in Python (asyncio), and related package ecosystems
Solid understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions, including query optimization
Practical experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus, or Weaviate)
Comfortable working with Docker, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI), and cloud services (AWS or GCP)
Basic understanding of financial architectures, transaction flows, encryption standards, or crypto-fiat transactional systems
Professional proficiency in English (B2+)
