About the role

  • Define and implement the enterprise technology governance model, including forums and formal technical decision-making mechanisms
  • Establish architectural standards for backend, frontend, mobile, APIs, messaging and cloud environments
  • Create reference architectures (blueprints) to accelerate new products and ensure consistency across squads
  • Lead the evolution of engineering practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, DevSecOps and infrastructure as code
  • Structure SRE practices, defining and tracking SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, incident management and post-mortems
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and guide their adoption in a strategic and sustainable manner
  • Support critical architectural decisions in high-impact business initiatives
  • Act as a technical reference for architects, tech leads and senior engineers, supporting team development
  • Promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, technical ownership and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Solid experience in software engineering, with significant experience in senior technical leadership
  • Experience in environments with multiple digital products, complex platforms or distributed ecosystems
  • Proven experience defining technical standards and architectural governance at an organizational level
  • Proficiency with modern architectures such as microservices, APIs, event-driven systems and cloud-native solutions
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, process automation, observability and DevSecOps practices
  • Knowledge of system reliability, including SRE concepts and practices
  • Experience supporting strategic technical decisions with organizational impact
