About the role
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to identify and pursue new client opportunities across multiple industries.
- Initiate and nurture relationships with potential clients at senior management and C-suite levels.
- Qualify new business opportunities and coordinate with partners and practice leads to develop tailored proposals.
- Network actively through industry events, professional associations, and business communities.
- Research and analyze market trends to identify emerging opportunities and client needs.
- Collaborate with partners and subject matter experts to create compelling value propositions.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline, tracking opportunities and activities in Salesforce.
- Lead client meetings, presentations, and proposal discussions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, marketing or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of proven business development experience
- Strong understanding of accounting services and business advisory solutions
- Experience leveraging a CRM tool for report generation and sales tracking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint) and Salesforce software.
- Excellent relationship-building and networking abilities.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to understand and articulate complex service offerings.
