About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Designing and implementing robust data collection and measurement approaches
Analysing health, administrative, survey and programme data to generate actionable insights
Supporting evaluation projects that assess the impact of innovations and service improvements
Developing and applying analytical methods that lead to meaningful conclusions and recommendations
Creating engaging visualisations and dashboards that communicate findings clearly to different audiences
Maintaining and enhancing our developing insights platform, ensuring stakeholders have access to timely and relevant information
Working with partners to secure and manage data access in line with governance requirements
Translating complex findings into clear, accessible reports and presentations
Supporting a learning health system approach by continuously sharing insight to drive improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need

A degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative, analytical, research or data-focused discipline
Strong analytical skills, including interpreting data, assessing limitations and drawing meaningful conclusions
Experience working on analytical, research, evaluation or insight projects
The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work to agreed deadlines
Experience analysing structured and unstructured datasets
Strong data visualisation and communication skills, ideally including Tableau
Experience using analytical tools such as R, Python or similar technologies
Knowledge of data governance, information governance and ethical standards relating to health data
Excellent organisational, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
