About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the design of U.S. Soccer's mobile application across iOS and Android
Define the design direction for the app
Translate complex requirements into clear mobile experiences
Apply native iOS and Android design patterns
Conduct user research and translate findings into product decisions
Partner with product and engineering to define the mobile roadmap
Contribute to and extend the mobile app design system
Collaborate with mobile engineers throughout implementation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of expertise, or equivalent professional experience
2+ years of professional product design experience focused on shipping native mobile applications (iOS, Android, or both)
A portfolio demonstrating strong visual design, interaction design, and end-to-end mobile product thinking
Strong working knowledge of Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design
Proficiency in Figma
Demonstrated ability to drive design work independently
General knowledge of soccer
Capable of working in fast-paced and demanding environments
