About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a key contact for Treasury Management customers
- Serve as the primary back-up to Payment Sales Consultants for complex corporate account relationships
- Assist with selling treasury management solutions and managing the overall sales process
- Provide primary client support through direct personal contact
- Analyze customer resources and tools to understand complex needs and desired outputs
- Manage pricing functions and new pricing requests
- Compile and analyze detailed pricing information and provide pricing comparisons
- Assist in RFP/proposal strategy, preparation, review, coordination and client responses
- Facilitate deal development by collecting, inputting and monitoring client data through the deal-team life cycle
- Create and update pipeline opportunities in the sales tool
- Maintain accurate client information and support pre-sale activities and product implementation
- Identify revenue-generating opportunities and predict future trends through data analysis
- Identify client needs and cross-sell Treasury Management products and services
- Explain, sell and administer products and services
- Participate in Working Capital customer engagement and creation of client materials
- Provide feedback to Sales, Product and Operations on existing and new product needs
- Participate in key relationship reviews when applicable
- Ensure compliance with the U.S. Bank Code of Ethics, anti-money-laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information-security and suspicious-activity-reporting requirements
- Complete required corporate and business-line training
- Follow account-opening procedures and internal suspicious-activity referral processes
- Work with customers to understand normal account activity as appropriate
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Two or more years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated proficiency of all Treasury Management products, systems, processes and understanding of customer use
- Excellent professional communication and written presentation skills
- Strong critical thinking, negotiation, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines simultaneously, set priorities and adapt to changing conditions with limited supervision
- High level of technological ability, especially Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
- Applicants must be able to comply with applicable employment eligibility and background-check requirements
