About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Administer assigned fiduciary and investment management accounts
  • Manage account administration, risk management, and servicing
  • Provide relationship management and product specialty expertise, including IRAs, charitable/philanthropic accounts, ILITs, and estates
  • Work as part of a team of experts administering accounts, with tasks assigned based on complexity
  • Service and retain existing accounts
  • Ensure compliance with governing documents, state statutes, and U.S. Bank policies and procedures
  • Meet corporate and regulatory compliance standards
  • Identify and resolve complex problems with minimal guidance
  • Manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines simultaneously

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Five or more years of experience in Trust administration
  • An advanced degree may be considered towards years of experience
  • Thorough knowledge of estate settlement, income, estate and multi-generational taxation, and trusts
  • Working knowledge of fiduciary law, tax implications and practices in multiple jurisdictions, trust accounting/reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex problems with minimal guidance
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and communication skills
  • Well-developed customer service/relations skills
  • Working towards a Professional Designation such as a CTFA or a CFP
  • Ability to work from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week
  • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
