About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build relationships with customers through in-person, appointment-based, and virtual engagement
  • Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Typically has less than four years of job-related retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
  • Must obtain and maintain National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
  • Subject to criminal background and credit checks
  • Ability to build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach and follow-up
  • Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems
  • Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Experience using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
  • Ability to identify customers’ needs while leveraging a digital-first mindset
  • Basic proficiency in making appropriate customer recommendations
  • Financial services industry experience preferred
  • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies, procedures, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, and workplace conduct and safety policies
  • Must satisfy applicable employment eligibility verification and background-check requirements
