About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build relationships with customers through in-person, appointment-based, virtual, and multi-channel engagement
  • Assess customers’ banking needs and provide counsel based on their goals
  • Obtain and process customer and account information
  • Demonstrate and educate clients on deposit, loan, digital, and self-service products and services
  • Recommend solutions for new and existing clients

  • Maintain knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Typically has less than four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
  • NMLS registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
  • Required NMLS registration process includes a criminal background and credit check
  • Proven ability to build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach and follow-up
  • Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems
  • Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Experience using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
  • Ability to identify customer needs while leveraging a digital-first mindset
  • Basic proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer needs
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred
  • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies, procedures, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, and workplace conduct and safety policies
