About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collect payments on assigned delinquent accounts
- Review account documentation
- Contact customers/clients by telephone and/or written correspondence
- Arrange repayment schedules
- Minimize loss to the organization
- Work Monday and Thursday from 12pm–9pm; Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8am–5pm, with Friday rotating every three weeks, Central Time
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two to three years of experience in collections and/or customer service activities
- Good knowledge of loan collection policies and procedures, fair debt collection practices, and related laws
- Strong customer service/relations skills
- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions
- Ability to organize and interpret information
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
