About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop profitable business account relationships and increase profitability from existing and new accounts
- Identify business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products, and services
- Make sales presentations to existing and prospective clients about the benefits of the organization's products and services
- Implement and maintain an effective referral network and call program to promote sales
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Five to seven or more years of relevant work experience
- Ability to travel (local and regional, some national)
- Well-developed sales and new business development skills, including developing sales strategies and goals and closing skills
- Thorough knowledge of unit payment products
- Basic knowledge of the organization and its products, services, and operations
- Basic knowledge of product marketing, client service issues, and organization operations
- Strong marketing, negotiation, and decision-making skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service and relationship skills with ability to creatively resolve client concerns and issues
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles related to financial transactions
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and workplace conduct and safety policies
- Ability to satisfy applicable employment eligibility verification and background-check requirements
- Certain positions may be subject to FINRA, NMLS registration, Reg Z, Reg G, OFAC, NFA, FCPA, Bank Secrecy Act, SAFE Act, and related federal guidelines
