About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collect payment on assigned delinquent accounts
- Review account documentation
- Contact customers/clients by telephone and written correspondence
- Arrange repayment schedules
- Minimize loss to the organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two to three years of experience in collections and/or customer service activities
- Good knowledge of loan collection policies and procedures, fair debt collection practices, and related laws
- Strong customer service/relations skills
- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to organize and interpret information
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and workplace conduct and safety policies
- Applicants must be able to comply with applicable employment eligibility verification and background check requirements
