About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a team of Small Business Specialists serving business clients with annual revenues between $500K and $2.5 million within an assigned market
  • Drive sales growth, build strong customer relationships, and ensure compliance with company standards
  • Provide leadership and coaching to achieve sales, revenue, and customer experience goals
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand market share and strengthen client relationships
  • Support team development through training, mentoring, and performance management
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions and drive business results
  • Monitor performance metrics and ensure adherence to risk and compliance requirements
  • Promote innovation and adoption of digital tools to enhance efficiency and customer engagement
  • Drive more than 10 hours per week

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically three or more years of sales management experience
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities with a focus on team development
  • Thorough knowledge of Small Business Banking products and services, industry types, operating cycles, and business financials
  • Effective recruiting and talent-building skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs
  • Experience driving proactive sales strategies and building high-performing teams
  • High level of expertise in customer communication and presentation skills
  • Previous sales leadership experience
  • Previous remote and multi-site management experience preferred
  • This position requires 10 or more hours of driving per week
  • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and workplace conduct and safety policies
  • Applicants must be able to satisfy applicable employment eligibility verification and background-check requirements
