About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Generate new business sales within Elavon’s UK SMB segment through self-sourced opportunities and partner-led referrals
  • Self-generate pipeline through prospecting, outbound sales activity, and professional networks
  • Build and maintain relationships with lead and referral partners
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from initial engagement through deal closure
  • Sell acquiring services and payment solutions
  • Achieve new customer acquisition and revenue targets
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity and forecasting in line with internal sales processes
  • Identify new opportunities and routes to market
  • Comply with applicable laws, rules, regulations, company policies, the CBI Fitness and Probity Regime, Conduct Standards, and U.S. Bank’s Code of Ethics
  • Provide requested information and documentation for company due diligence

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Merchant Services or the Financial Services sector
  • Experience self-generating sales and prospects
  • Valid UK driver’s licence
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Highly effective verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and influencing skills
  • Willingness to accept change and maintain effectiveness in a changing environment
  • Interest in learning about the Elavon business
  • General “can-do” attitude
  • Must comply with the CBI Fitness and Probity Regime and Conduct Standards applicable to the role
  • Must provide requested information and documentation regarding qualifications, experience, employment history, financial soundness, and other interests for due diligence
