About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive growth and market penetration of U.S. Bank’s ETF servicing capabilities across asset managers, sponsors, and intermediaries
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to grow ETF servicing mandates
  • Identify and originate new client opportunities across core and emerging ETF segments
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with ETF issuers, asset managers, and key market participants
  • Partner with Relationship Managers, Client Coverage, Product, and Operations teams to deepen client engagement and expand wallet share
  • Coordinate go-to-market positioning across custody, fund administration, and ETF servicing capabilities
  • Refine and articulate U.S. Bank’s ETF value proposition
  • Provide market feedback to inform product development, innovation, and service enhancements
  • Monitor ETF market trends, competitor positioning, and client needs, translating insights into actionable strategies
  • Identify cross-sell and platform expansion opportunities, including bundled custody, accounting, and performance services
  • Establish sales priorities, manage pipelines, track performance, and ensure execution against growth targets
  • Contribute to broader Global Investment Services objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of experience in financial services, with a focus on ETFs, asset servicing, or institutional sales
  • Demonstrated ability to originate and close complex institutional business
  • Strong understanding of ETF structures, servicing models, and ecosystem participants
  • Proven ability to navigate matrixed organizations and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders
  • Strong executive presence and influencing capabilities
  • Proven track record of successful business development and revenue generation
  • Strong knowledge of custody, fund administration, and ETF servicing functions
  • Deep expertise in ETF markets, including product structures, regulatory landscape, and distribution channels
  • Existing industry relationships with ETF sponsors and asset managers
  • Experience working across global markets and complex operating models
  • Compliance with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct
  • Ability to comply with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and procedures
