About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build relationships with customers through in-person, appointment-based, and virtual engagement
  • Assess customers’ banking needs and obtain and process customer and account information
  • Demonstrate and educate clients on deposit and loan products and services
  • Recommend solutions based on customers’ unique goals and needs
  • Conduct proactive outreach and follow-up with clients

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Client Relationship Consultant 1: typically one to two years of job-related retail banking experience or equivalent combination of experience and commensurate training
  • Client Relationship Consultant 2: typically three to four years of job-related retail banking experience or equivalent combination of experience and commensurate training
  • Client Relationship Consultant 3: typically four to five years of job-related retail banking experience or equivalent combination of experience and commensurate training
  • Client Relationship Consultant 4: typically five or more years of job-related retail banking experience or equivalent combination of experience and commensurate training
  • NMLS registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
  • Required NMLS registration process includes criminal background and credit check
  • Ability to build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach and follow-up
  • Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
  • Knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems
  • Knowledge of retail banking products and services
  • Customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Experience using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
  • Ability to identify customers’ needs using a digital-first mindset
  • Ability to make appropriate recommendations meeting customer needs
