About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build relationships with customers through face-to-face engagement
  • Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs
  • Obtain and process customer and account information
  • Educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services
  • Recommend financial solutions based on each customer’s unique goals and needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three to five or more years of customer service experience, depending on level
  • Three to five or more years of sales experience, depending on level
  • Thorough or advanced knowledge of retail product philosophy, policy, procedures, documentation, and systems
  • Thorough or advanced knowledge of retail products and services
  • Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Experience participating in sales campaigns/promotions
  • Strong mathematical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Financial services industry experience preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred for Client Relationship Consultant 3 and 4
  • NMLS registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
  • Successful completion of required criminal background and credit checks
  • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies, procedures, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, and workplace conduct and safety policies
  • Ability to meet employment eligibility verification requirements
