About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Acquire, expand, and retain Payment business, including Merchant, Treasury Management, and Card products
  • Conduct outside sales and proactive prospecting focused on acquiring new business clients
  • Provide consultative advice on cash conversion cycles, working capital management, and internal processes
  • Manage existing client relationships in collaboration with Business Banking Relationship Managers
  • Conduct receivables and payables business operating cycle analyses
  • Provide client feedback and recommend products/services to improve process efficiency and business flows
  • Leverage resources and technologies to optimize client experience and operational accuracy
  • Meet or exceed sales, revenue, and retention objectives
  • Assist in structuring new or modified Payment services and oversee implementation
  • Build community relationships and engage with local organizations
  • Identify business development opportunities and ways for U.S. Bank to support local communities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Five to seven years of related experience in Treasury Management sales
  • Proven sales, prospecting, and new business development skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Treasury Management and Payments
  • Strong client service and relationship skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Active listening and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to teach customers how to use digital technology
  • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, and workplace conduct and safety policies
  • Certain positions may be subject to FINRA, NMLS registration, Reg Z, Reg G, OFAC, NFA, FCPA, Bank Secrecy Act, SAFE Act, and applicable federal guidelines
