About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Approving credit risk and market distribution risk related to U.S. Bank's activities in capital markets underwriting, equity capital markets, debt capital markets, loan capital markets
  • Work collaboratively with business lines to maintain and ensure compliance with related policies and procedures
  • Monitor and report on risk across the portfolios
  • Identify trends, potential risks and issues
  • Integrate and support new product introductions and market expansions
  • Provide guidance and training related to the Fixed Income & Capital Markets businesses

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in economics, finance or accounting, or equivalent work experience
  • 15 or more years of experience in a credit risk management environment, including experience managing credit and distribution risk within Fixed Income and Global Capital Markets businesses
