About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Approving the extension of credit and/or making recommendations for lending decisions
  • Conducting a complete credit analysis on business banking clients
  • Evaluating financial statements, cash flow, collateral, industry trends, and repayment capacity
  • Identifying, evaluating, and determining the course of action on credit quality issues
  • Supporting relationship managers and business banking partners
  • Using technological tools to assist in credit analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically four or more years of relevant experience for Credit Analyst 4
  • Typically five or more years of relevant experience for Credit Analyst 5
  • Strong credit analysis and analytical skills
  • Thorough knowledge of credit analysis, credit administration, credit policy and procedures, and risk analysis
  • Background in economics, accounting, and/or finance
  • Effective technical report writing skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages
  • Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred
