About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with Relationship Manager(s) to successfully manage a portfolio of Corporate Banking credit relationships
- Grow revenue as directed by senior management by successfully closing new business relationships and retaining and expanding relationships with existing customers
- Underwrite all types of credit account exposure
- Manage an assigned credit portfolio
- Successfully close new business relationships and expand existing relationships
- Manage credit risk and respond to prospect or customer credit questions
- Make independent calls on assigned portfolio of relationships
- Provide customer service and participate in joint sales calls with Relationship Manager(s)
- Identify customer needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Eight or more years of relevant experience
- Extensive knowledge of commercial/corporate lending and credit standards, policies, procedures and products
- Strong relationship management and business development skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
