About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with Relationship Manager(s) to successfully manage a portfolio of Corporate Banking credit relationships
  • Grow revenue as directed by senior management by successfully closing new business relationships and retaining and expanding relationships with existing customers
  • Underwrite all types of credit account exposure
  • Manage an assigned credit portfolio
  • Successfully close new business relationships and expand existing relationships
  • Manage credit risk and respond to prospect or customer credit questions
  • Make independent calls on assigned portfolio of relationships
  • Provide customer service and participate in joint sales calls with Relationship Manager(s)
  • Identify customer needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Eight or more years of relevant experience
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial/corporate lending and credit standards, policies, procedures and products
  • Strong relationship management and business development skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
