About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supports financial analyses related to budgets, forecasting, allocation of expenses, ad hoc analysis for business case development
- Develops and maintains spreadsheets and statistical models for financial analysis
- Prepares a variety of management presentations
- Researches and resolves problems and errors in data from financial reporting systems
- Provides analytical and reporting support for project and portfolio financial management by tracking budgets and forecasts, monitoring spend and producing recurring and ad hoc reports
- Works closely with project managers and finance partners to maintain accurate data, investigate routine variances, and improve the timeliness and consistency of financial information
- Builds and maintains spreadsheets and standard templates, prepares summaries and presentations, and supports planning and close activities under guidance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically three or more years of related experience
- Working knowledge of financial analysis techniques and general accounting procedures
- Well-developed mathematical and analytical skills
- Thorough knowledge in financial analysis, forecasting, and planning
- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
- Strong technical skills related to data mining and visualization tools
