About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Reviewing calculations, projected income and capital gain distribution estimates for clients.
Monitoring and reviewing the overall distribution process for clients, comprising accurate and timely calculations, reconciliations and payment of dividends and capital gains for ETF and mutual fund products.
Validate distribution rates, components, and tax classifications (e.g., ordinary income, qualified dividends, capital gains, return of capital) and review vendor reporting and income projections.
Collaborating with fund administrators, tax administrators, fund accountants, transfer agents, custodians, index providers and exchanges.
Support daily financial operations for ETF and mutual fund products by overseeing invoice processing, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate allocation of fund expenses.
Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with internal controls.
Work closely with internal teams and external service providers.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
CPA certified or candidate
Eight or more years of experience in Mutual Fund Administration or related field, i.e., public accounting
Proven knowledge of ETFs, mutual funds, other investments and security types
Keen understanding of accounting principles
Acknowledgement of ethics and compliance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Organized and attentive to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and deadlines simultaneously
Ability to perform under tight deadlines
Process-oriented mindset with interest in automation and workflow improvement
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Proficient computer navigation skills
Intermediate to expert Microsoft Excel ability
Willingness to learn new and sometimes complex concepts
