About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead design of enterprise AI architecture and reusable platform capabilities
Define architectural standards, governance models, and best practices for AI implementations
Evaluate and recommend AI platforms and tooling such as Azure AI services, AWS AI/ML platforms, OpenAI-based solutions, and enterprise LLM platforms
Develop architecture roadmaps aligned to business strategy and enterprise technology direction
Guide engineering teams in implementing scalable AI solutions leveraging cloud-native architectures, APIs, and distributed systems
Design solutions with sufficient technical depth to support implementation and operationalization
Identify risks and ensure alignment with security, identity, network, and data governance requirements
Influence decisions around model deployment strategies, integration patterns, and enterprise AI platform design

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Ten (10) or more years of experience in technology architecture, engineering, or enterprise systems design
Deep expertise in enterprise architecture and platform design
Experience building and scaling AI/ML platforms using cloud services (e.g., Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, Bedrock)
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, including compute, networking, storage, identity (IAM), and security architecture
Experience designing distributed systems and integrating enterprise platforms using APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures
Demonstrated understanding of generative AI and agentic AI, including evaluation of latency, reasoning, orchestration, and safety considerations
Experience designing or supporting LLM-based applications, multimodal AI solutions, or document intelligence platforms
Strong experience evaluating vendors and enterprise technology ecosystems
Experience defining governance models and enterprise architecture standards
Strong executive communication and influencing skills.
