About the role
- Maintain the general ledger and records of mutual funds and produce end of day net asset value calculation
- Prepare daily general ledger accounting and prime broker/bank cash reconciliations
- Process advisor/portfolio management activities, apply corporate actions, post expense accruals and payments
- Perform daily net asset value and mill rate determinations
- Conduct portfolio pricing analysis/validations and portfolio reconciliations
- Distribute timely internal/external information and partner with administrators, transfer agencies, prime brokers/custodians
- Collaborate on compliance, audit and financials ensuring Fund Accounting functions comply with SEC regulations and GAAP principles
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
- Two to four years of experience in accounting or finance activities
- Thorough knowledge of accounting, reporting, and analysis
- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct
- Willingness to undergo background checks and possible regulatory registrations (FINRA, NMLS, OFAC, etc.)
