About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides a broad range of administrative and operational support to assigned managers and the mortgage team, including direct support to a Regional Manager
- Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, presentations, and travel arrangements; composing correspondence and maintaining documentation; and supporting special projects as needed
- Collects and interprets data to produce reports and routinely utilizes Microsoft Office tools, including Excel for formatting, filtering, and formula-based tracking, and PowerPoint for creating professional presentations
- Plays a key role in supporting recruiting and onboarding activities, assisting with candidate coordination, new hire processes, and related administrative tasks to ensure a seamless experience
- Expected to manage multiple requests simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet established deadlines while proactively seeking clarification when priorities or timelines are unclear
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- Typically two to four years of experience in administrative and support staff activities
- Well-developed reading, writing and mathematical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Demonstrated administrative and clerical skills
- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data
- Effective verbal and written communication and grammatical skills
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formatting, filtering, and use of formulas
- Experience creating and delivering professional PowerPoint presentations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and proactively seek clarification when deadlines are unclear
- Proven ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously while meeting established deadlines
- Prior mortgage or banking industry experience a plus
