About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Managing and growing relationships with Foreign Subsidiary Commercial and Corporate Banking clients across the United States
- Prospecting and closing new business relationships while retaining and expanding existing customer relationships
- Managing loan and portfolio credit quality
- Providing financial advice to customers and recommending appropriate bank products and services
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree, or equivalent work experience
- 10 or more years of commercial lending experience
- Bilingual in Japanese is highly preferred
- Ability to travel throughout the continental U.S.
- Strong relationship management and business development/sales skills
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Considerable knowledge of credit and credit quality
- Thorough knowledge of bank products and services
- Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups in managing customer relationships
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
