Key responsibilities & impact
  • Managing and growing relationships with Foreign Subsidiary Commercial and Corporate Banking clients across the United States
  • Prospecting and closing new business relationships while retaining and expanding existing customer relationships
  • Managing loan and portfolio credit quality
  • Providing financial advice to customers and recommending appropriate bank products and services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 10 or more years of commercial lending experience
  • Bilingual in Japanese is highly preferred
  • Ability to travel throughout the continental U.S.
  • Strong relationship management and business development/sales skills
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Considerable knowledge of credit and credit quality
  • Thorough knowledge of bank products and services
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups in managing customer relationships
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
