About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop profitable new business account relationships and increased profitability from existing accounts.
  • Identify business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products and services.
  • Make sales presentations to existing and prospective clients informing them of benefits of using the organization’s products and services to meet their needs.
  • Implement and maintain an effective referral network and call program to promote sales.
  • Manage the ongoing account relationship with existing customers.
  • Establish and maintain internal relationships.
  • Establish and maintain good public relationships with the community to enhance the organization's image and develop new business.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically nine or more years of relevant experience
  • Experience in Public Sector is a must, Transit and Higher Ed is desired.
  • Strong business development mindset with ability to generate new business.
  • Strong relationship management, build and sustain a referral network to drive client pipeline growth.
  • Considerable knowledge of product marketing, client service issues, and organization operations.
  • Well-developed negotiation and decision-making skills.
  • Strong presentation skills, ability to present in front of decision makers.
  • Experience selling fintech products is highly preferred.
  • Experience selling merchant payment processing products is bonus, having market awareness in merchant segments in enterprise and mid-market is preferred.
  • Proven success in driving sales activities.
