About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in class software experiences
  • Collaborate with a team and across the organization
  • Take responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards
  • Ensure minimal impact to the customer experience
  • Adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles
  • Plan CI/CD pipeline architecture and functionality
  • Lead CI/CD pipeline design
  • Prioritize team work - enhancements, defects, automation, vulnerability remediation, etc.
  • Create and refine user stories
  • Groom and maintain Jira backlog
  • Create & update user and architectural documentation
  • Collaborate with Enterprise partners on pipeline infrastructure and enhancements
  • Lead Daily Stand Up and champion MOB sessions
  • Lead DevOps Community of Excellence sessions
  • Perform code reviews
  • Review and approve intake requests for pipeline enhancements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Three to five years of relevant experience
  • Hands-on technical experience in a DevOps environment
  • Expertise with CI/CD frameworks
  • Proficient knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD principals, including architecture, security, testing, end-to-end automation, and orchestration
  • Experience with mainframe development and SDLC, including a solid understanding of batch, online and DB2 database processing
  • Experience with UNIX, bash scripting, YAML, Python, Rancher, Kubernetes and container principals, API principals, and infrastructure as code solutions
  • Nice to have: COBOL experience
