About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build relationships with customers by engaging face to face
- Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs
- Originate and close consumer loans
- Open accounts and manage branch operations
- Educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services
- Recommend financial solutions based on customer goals and needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- Typically has four to five years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up
- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
- Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience in participating in sales campaigns/promotions
- Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
- Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
- Demonstrated advanced level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred
