About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and support day-to-day processing of FX and trade transactions across the full lifecycle (payments, settlements, investigations, and trade services)
- Provide guidance, coaching, and oversight to a team of operations professionals; serve as a go-to escalation point for complex issues
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with international banking regulations, policies, and service level expectations
- Facilitate coordination across internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution of transaction processing and disbursements
- Review, execute, and reconcile transactions and documentation to maintain operational integrity
- Drive process improvements, support project initiatives, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
- Partner with leadership and peers to align on priorities and maintain consistent service delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five or more years of relevant work experience
- Prior team lead or leadership experience
- Experience with wire transfers and SWIFT formatting
- Exposure to Foreign Exchange (FX) operations, settlements, or international payments
- Familiarity with SQL or data tools
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to manage and resolve complex issues with minimal supervision
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and leadership presence
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
