About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supervises a team of administrators responsible for accounting, administration, and investor servicing to investment companies and advisers
- Serves as trusted advisor to clients by assessing changing business strategies and providing expertise
- Acts as the escalation point for clients assigned to the team and directs issue resolution
- Prepares or reviews work-papers, call and distribution letters, and calculates carried interest
- Prepares or reviews management fee calculations and supporting schedules
- Prepares or reviews work paper files for accuracy and completeness
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent experience
- Five or more years of experience in alternative investments industry
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, PCS (Investran) and/or Cascade
- Basic knowledge of Advent applications preferred
- General knowledge and understanding of portfolio accounting and the investment management industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven team-oriented, leadership and organizational skills
- CPA or CFA certification preferred
